Bloodwork Made Simple
Join Charlotte and Brendan for the next evening in our New Graduate Survival Series: two hours of practical, approachable bloodwork. Aimed at new and recent graduates, and open to anyone wanting to brush up on their basic bloodwork skills. We’ll talk through biochemistry and haematology, what to look for, what common changes mean and how to make sense of the results in everyday practice. We’ll stay afterwards for questions.
- Biochemistry: recognising important changes and understanding what they mean
- Haematology: working through red cells, white cells and platelets
- Putting results together with the patient’s history and clinical signs
